We just moved to a new home, in a peaceful city, in another country, in another language... and so we are on our journey to a new LIFE : an interesting LEAP forward. The two of us will soon become three, which makes this a much more exciting beginning. Several diversified things to look forward to. Life becomes more interesting...
Few days ago, we wandered about in the new city. Trying to find out the places to buy groceries, the park for a stroll, the cinema, the shops, the restaurants, the post office, the city hall, the hospital, the pharmacy, the bookshops, and the church. We were blessed to have arrived in the parish church at the time when they were about to celebrate the mass.
Finally, I had a holy mass in proper English! With my 26 months of living in Italy and having had only 2 English masses; this one was music to my ears, an uplifting mood for my already hyped up spirit. I was more overjoyed when my little one started moving. I felt his tickling kicks inside me. He would usually move around dinner time until bed time. That was a surprise indeed! For me, that is one great miracle!
I felt more blessed than I was already feeling. I was more excited than anything. He kept moving the whole time during the mass. Probably because it was a new language, who knows? I have been going to church but the mass is always in Italian. It could also be that he was hungry since it was lunch time. Whatever his reason was, I was delighted; because I know he is very much present inside me witnessing every single sensation around me.
With all the little kicks he did, I was more grateful to HIM, as I uttered my prayers of thanksgiving. I am in another journey with my husband and with my little guy kicking and tickling me from the inside.This little ONE is one great LEAP forward for us as a couple; towards seeing life and it's beauty in another light. May we as new parents, be able to share with him all the great and happy things we have in this journey we call LIFE!
